My daily driver a 07/2000 Mitsubishi Magna TJ Sports metallic red, Auto. 6G74 3.5L No engine modifications. Near new standard factory sports exhaust.

Always use 95 octane fuel, sometimes 98.

I usually average about 10.5L per 100km, 70% hilly highway driving.

A 120km trip, 9.2L per 100km, cruise on for 70% of the time. Speed 110km/h, up and down hills for most of the journey.

The car has 193,000km with its original engine and transmission. I bought it over 3 years ago at 146,000, was not well looked after and over time I got the radiator replaced 2 years ago and rocker gasket covers replaced a year ago or so, along with the exhaust a few months back. Paint fairly good but a few chips, clear peeling off from spoiler, front and rear bumper minor damage. Bonnet resprayed last year due to the fact clear was peeling off areas that were poorly touched up. Got new tyres for the aftermarket 17x7 rims. Its a pretty good old car and will serve me for several more years.

    Default VRX LE economy

My newly purchased '03 TL VRX LE 5 spd has been sitting between 11.4 and have just gotten as low as 11.1 L/100km.
Bog standard car, driven mostly easy with a few short overtakes, etc on a combo, but mostly hilly, windy country. Hasn't been loaded at all.
I live up a windy mountain road, and have been using on the weekends just for a run. Usually leave it in 5th mostly (my daily is an 86 Skyline 5spd which bizarrely seems happier to sit in 5th to even lower speeds, so I am still used to that). Easy on the throttle mostly, smoothest changes etc.

    Would this be typical roundabouts?

Verada KH getting around 18-19L/100km city driving, terrible. Swapping out the O2 sensor hopefully fixes it.
